Pokemon Emerald: Regi Guide

Unlocking (Mandatory)

This will be a multi-part series to show how to unlock and find all three of the Regi’s in Pokemon Emerald, Regice, Regirock, and Registeel.

First, you will need to catch a Relicanth and a Wailmer and evolve that Wailmer into a Wailord (Level 40). Move Wailord to the first spot in your party and Relicanth to the last spot.

Second, Fly (or Surf) to Pacifidlog Town. Surf to the left, there is fast moving water so it’s important that you hit the water in the right location.

If you do it right, you will be at a small area where you can dive. Dive down and surf down. Read the Braille then Dive back to the surface. Once you are at the surface go to the back wall and use Dig.

Finally, enter the last room, go to the back and read the Braille. You will get a message that “A door opened somewhere”

Regice

To find Regice, Fly to Dewford, and head north. Surf and stick to the West as you go. Follow the route we take in the video, and you will end up at a cave. (If you didn’t do Part 1 of the guide the cave will not be open)

Head in and go to the back. Read the Braille, then walk, Clockwise, around the perimeter of the cave. When you get back to where you started the cave will open and a Level 40 Regice will be waiting for you.

Regirock

To find Regirock, Fly to Lavaridge Town, and head east. Run through the desert and head south. Until you get to the big mountain with the cave in it.

Head in and go to the back. Read the Braille, then walk, two steps down and 2 steps left. Then use Rock Smash. The cave will open and a Level 40 Regirock will be waiting for you.

Registeel

To find Registeel, Fly to Fortree Town, and head east. Then head south, as you head south you will want to look for the ramp to the West that heads back North. You will run into a  big mountain with the cave in it.

Head in and go to the back. Read the Braille, then walk to the center of the room. Then use Flash. The cave will open and a Level 40 Registeel will be waiting for you.
