Pokemon Fire Red: Buying the Rainbow Badge

For 82,100 PokeDollars you can buy a Rainbow Badge. (Or 17 runs of the Nugget Bridge Trick)

Once you get to Celadon with 82,100 PokeDollars. 

First, head to the top of Celadon Mansion and pick up your Free Eevee.

Second, head to the Mart, fourth floor, and purchase a Fire Stone for 2100 PokeDollars.

Use the FireStone on your Eevee and evolve it to a Flareon.

Next, head over to the Game Corner, (if you don’t have the Coin Case yet, head to the South East corner of town and talk to the man at the back of the restaurant) Purchase 4,000 Coins, the equivalent of 80,000 PokeDollars.

Stop by the Reward Counter and get TM 35 Flamethrower. Teach this to Flareon. (Flareon doesn’t learn this by level up until level 52)

You are now all set to sweep the Celadon Gym with only your newly acquired Eevee and buy yourself a Rainbow Badge!
