Welcome to another build showcase on Hungry Raven. This is the Celestial Hunter and it is very powerful in endgame due to the use of Celestial Nighthawk. If you enjoy fire and explosions, this build will be for you.
Solar Subclass Breakdown
- Aspects: Knock ‘Em Down and On your Mark
- Fragments: Mercy, Searing, Empyrean, Torches, Benevolence
- Abilities: Gambler’s Dodge, Triple Jump, Knife Trick, Healing Grenade
The goal of this build is to hit precision shots to activate “On Your Mark” and charge your super. With Sunshot, you will be wiping out entire groups of enemies and charging your super extremely fast. This build utilizes Celestial Nighthawk and the Marksman Golden Gun super for maximum damage. “Knock ‘Em Down” enhances your super, and while radiant, a final blow with your melee will fully charge your melee (essentially providing unlimited uses if you land final blows).
The selected fragments will enhance your survivability with this build as well as buff your weapon damage. This is achieved through initiating the Radiant and Restoration buffs and then maintaining both. Restoration can be applied when using your healing grenade. “Ember of Mercy” and “Searing” help maintain that buff through firesprites. “Ember of Torches” and your melee will provide you with the Radiant buff. Radiant increases your solar weapon damage and makes your weapons effective against barrier champions. “Ember of Empyrean” extends the Restoration and Radiant buff through solar weapon and ability final blows. “Ember of Benevolence” assists with ability cooldowns so you can utilize your abilities as frequently as possible to maintain your buffs.
Armor Mods, Artifact Perks, and Weapon Breakdown
- Siphon Mods: produce orbs to initiate the Woven Mail buff
- Focusing Strike: grant class ability energy when you cause damage with powered melee attacks
- Heavy Handed: produce orbs on melee final blows
- Resistance mods: increase incoming damage
- Recuperation: replenish health each time you pick up an orb of power
- Solar Weapon Surge: Collecting an orb of power causes you to gain 1 temporary armor charge
- Class mods: reduce cooldowns when using abilities and spawn orbs of power
- Flame Fiber Freeze: combines solar/strand and solar/stasis siphon mods
- Kindling Trigger: while radiant, solar weapons apply scorch
- Flint Striker: provides radiant on rapid precision hits with a solar weapon
- Torch: increased damage to combatants affected by strand and stasis
- Wished into Being: abilities create orbs of power when super is nearly charged
- Rays of Precision: while radiant, solar precision final blows cause combatants to ignite
- Solo Operative: increase damage while solo
- Sunshot is the only required weapon for this build.
